for its broad line of high-performance, high-value faxmodem
products , has launched a new, user-friendly forum on America
Online and a Home Page on the World Wide Web. The AOL forum
and Home Page complement Zoom's other support channels, including
person-to-person telephone support, Zoom Bulletin Board Service
(BBS), fax-on-demand service, and 900 priority service. Access
to Zoom's AOL forum is through Keyword: ZOOMT and the Web
Site is located at: www.zoomtel.com.
"Our new America Online forum significantly increases
our on-line technical support for users of Zoom products,"
said Frank Manning, President and CEO of Zoom Telephonics.
"Our support staff closely monitors the forum, responds
to questions through electronic mail, and posts the replies
for others to view. We also use the forum to post answers
to frequently asked questions, plus time-saving hints and
tips." The AOL forum also includes detailed modem
specification sheets that include the most up-to-date information
on Zoom products. File areas are maintained for both Macintosh
and PC-compatible programs, providing a quick and efficient
way to distribute software information, programs, and patches
to Zoom users. "Our new Home Page on the World
Wide Web provides Internet access to information about Zoom
and its products to the large international user community,"
said Manning. The Zoom Home Page contains links to
information, programs, and patches available to the customer.
In addition, it features links to job opportunities at Zoom
Telephonics, the latest press releases, and financial information
about the company, including quarterly and annual reports. |
